Jim Dyer, a world-class Santa, is much more to Wake Forest than a public servant. He and his wife are a staple of the community. We sat down with Jim to discuss why Wake Forest is where his family calls "home."

PHAXTEC is developing promising new technology for creating a recyclable and biodegradable material to replace plastics. At the heart of PHAXTEC’s solution is PolyHydroxyAlkanoates – or “PHA” – a family of polymers sharing many of the same qualities of seven of the 10 top-selling plastics.
