ReVibe is a late stage startup that has launched, grown, and succeeded in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Focused on designing and manufacturing wearable, IoT, psychology-based technology, ReVibe is empowering learning in the classroom with tech that reminds students to stay focused and on task.
Under the direction of former school psychologist, Rich Brancaccio, ReVibe moved from bold idea to final product with the help of the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina. Now in part funded by a grant from the US Department of Education, this growing company boasts an impact on the futures of thousands of students, not just in educational achievement, but in confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth.
“From an entrepreneurial perspective, Wake Forest is a great opportunity,” said ReVibe CEO Rich Brancaccio. “I think it’s a really untapped resource at this point in terms of setting up your business. There’s a real feeling in Wake Forest that we all want to help each other, as businesses, to pull each other up by the bootstraps. We have everything that a big town or city would have in a much more nicely packaged, family friendly environment”.
