Visionary Leadership Focus Group

The Town of Wake Forest is focused on leveraging the resources within our community to grow businesses. It’s in our DNA! Building on the success of pilot programming in 2023, the Wake Forest Business & Industry Partnership (WFBIP) is excited to partner with the Wake Forest Chamber in our ongoing efforts through the Wake Forest Founders (WFF) Program. With the expertise of UNC’s Innovate Carolina and Dr. Tim Flood of the Kenan-Flagler Business School, we have structured innovation and social programming scheduled each month in Downtown Wake Forest along with direct support to local founders through 2 cohort-based accelerator programs and Founders-In-Residence coaching.

In other words: we want to serve more budding innovators and entrepreneurs by connecting them with these valuable resources! That’s where you come in! We need your help tapping into your Wake Forest area networks to spread the word about these strategic investments in entrepreneurship.

To launch this conversation, on Thursday, June 13th, from 8:00 - 9:30 AM, we invite you for breakfast to hear from Bill Zahn, founder of Triangle Real Estate Company, who will briefly share his own entrepreneurial journey. Bill is a key leader in the amazing and catalytic developments around Downtown Cary in recent years through projects including The Mayton and The Walker. Each of these projects has seen astounding success, and Bill is now positioned to bring his passion and expertise to our community in Wake Forest by leading the redevelopment of Downtown’s former SunTrust Bank property.

This is an invite-only event. If you have any questions, please reach out to Clark Rinehart at crinehart@wakeforestnc.gov.
